2023 Lotus Emira Design
The Lotus Emira carries the design language of the Evija hypercar, with all the cuts and folds in the right places. The hypercar’s vertical LED headlamps, wing-inspired twin blade design, and traditional Lotus roundel have all been seen before. It appears to be a car from a prior episode. The Emira will be offered in two versions: Base Edition and First Edition. The First Edition comes standard with 20-inch V-spoke Silver cast wheels, while the Base Edition comes standard with 20-inch 10-spoke Silver cast wheels. Silver, gloss black, or diamond cut finish for forged wheels. They come standard with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport tires, but for a cost, you may upgrade to Michelin Pilot Sport 2 Cup rubber.Both of these tires were developed particularly for the Emira, according to Lotus.
The First Edition variant comes with a titanium exhaust finisher, heated power-fold door mirrors, and rear parking sensors. Lotus claims that this is unique to the Emira. Behind it is a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
A 10.25-inch touchscreen display supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A 10-channel, 340W KEF sound system will delight audiophiles. 2023 Lotus Emira Engine
The Lotus Emira will be offered with two engine options. The Toyota 2GR-FE 3.5-liter V-6 engine is the first. Lotus has paired it with an Edelbrock 1740 supercharger. This engine develops 400 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque when equipped with the six-speed manual transmission. You’ll receive 400 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque if you choose the six-speed automatic transmission over the third pedal. In both cases, the engine redlines at 6,800 rpm. With the automatic transmission, the Emira will accelerate to 62 mph in 4.2 seconds from a standstill, while the manual transmission will take one-tenth of a second longer. The top speed is 180 mph, regardless of the gearbox you choose.The other choice is Mercedes-2.0-liter AMG’s four-cylinder turbocharged engine. It generates 360 horses. The same engine powers the AMG A45. In the Emira, it will be mated to a dual-clutch automatic transmission that will only drive the rear wheels. The torque statistics are currently unknown. If Lotus decides to go all-in on this, we could see a greater level of tuning, similar to the AMG A45 S, which has a 421-horsepower engine.
2023 Lotus Emira Price & Release date
In Spring 2022, the Emira First Edition will be available, followed by the Emira Base Edition in Spring 2023. The Emira Edition is priced at £59,995, while the Emira First Edition is priced at £75,995. This is about $79,200 and $100,400, respectively, based on exchange rates at the time of writing this essay.
